  • ¼ teaspoon fine Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey or pure maple syrup (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm your water until about 110°F (43°C), comfortably warm but not hot.
  2. Squeeze fresh juice from half a lemon (about 1 tablespoon) into a glass or bowl, straining out seeds if desired.
  3. Add ¼ teaspoon of fine Himalayan pink salt to the lemon water and stir until fully dissolved.
  4. If desired, stir in 1 teaspoon of raw honey or pure maple syrup to add sweetness.
  5. Optionally add ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar and a pinch of cayenne pepper for digestion and metabolic boost, stirring thoroughly.
  6. Give the drink a final stir, taste, and adjust sweetness or lemon if needed.
  7. Enjoy immediately on an empty stomach in the morning for best metabolic and hydration effects.
