A quick, easy, and affordable yogurt parfait made with plain yogurt, frozen berries, and granola. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or light dessert, this recipe is budget-friendly and delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • Β½ cup (75 g) frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • ΒΌ cup (30 g) granola (low-sugar variety recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon (7 ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients. Thaw frozen berries for about 5 minutes at room temperature if you want a softer texture.
  2. Start with a base layer of yogurt (Β½ cup / 120 ml). Spoon it into your glass or bowl, smoothing it out gently.
  3. Add a layer of berries (ΒΌ cup / 37 g). Spread the thawed berries evenly over the yogurt.
  4. Sprinkle granola (2 tablespoons / 15 g) over the berries.
  5. Repeat the layers: another Β½ cup of yogurt, followed by the remaining berries and granola.
  6. Optional: drizzle honey or maple syrup (1 teaspoon / 7 ml) on top.
  7. Optional: sprinkle chia seeds (1 teaspoon / 5 g) on the top layer.
  8. Serve immediately or chill for up to 30 minutes. Add extra granola before eating to keep it crunchy.

Notes

Thaw frozen berries slightly before layering for better texture. Add granola just before serving to keep it crunchy. For dairy-free, use almond or coconut milk yogurt. For gluten-free, use certified gluten-free granola or substitute with nuts and seeds.
